Admission

 

ADMISSION

We are proud to state that upon recommendations of UGC and the State Govt, University of Mumbai has conferred  Autonomous Status to our college from Academic year 2014-15.

 

KJSCE has been Awarded “A” Grade by the “National Assessment and Accreditation Council” (NAAC) from May 2017.

 

KJSCE is ranked by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2018) MHRD, Government of India in the 150-200 band.

 

Admission procedure for First Year Engineering (F. Y. B. Tech.):

All college admissions are done as per the rules and regulations of Competent Authority, Directorate of Technical Education/State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra through Centralized Admission Process.

Soon after the declaration of  MHT-CET result,  the Competent Authority invites applications from eligible students for first year Engineering, prepare merit list and provisionally allot the admission through Centralized Admission Process.  As per the allotment, College admit the candidates after verifying their original documents,  collect requisite fees and confirm their admission.

 

Under Graduate Programmes  (UG Full time)  Duration: 4years

(Bachelor of Technology- B. Tech Degree from University of Mumbai)

After completion of CAP rounds, if any seats remain vacant, college fill these seats by inviting applications from eligible students those who have registered in the centralized admission process, prepare merit list and admit the candidate through counseling as per the merit before cut of date announced by the competent Authority.

Regarding NRI/PIO/Foreign nationals/ CIWGC category admissions:

College invites applications from eligible candidates who have registered in Centralised Admission Process of Government of Maharashtra under that respective category, prepare merit list and admit the candidates through allotment/counseling as per the merit of PCM marks of HSC.

Regarding all admission related college activities please refer “Admission Notices” regularly at college website.

Direct Second year Engineering: 

Direct second year Engineering admission is offered to Diploma holder candidate.  Merit is based on final year Diploma marks.   Centralised Admission Process normally start in June every year soon after the Diploma results. Term for the Second year  Semester III starts in July before completion of admission process.
