For Academic Year 2025-26

Application for Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), are accepted through Somaiya Vidyavihar University Entrance Test (SVUET) 2025 or State Common Entrance Test MAH-B.BCA CET 2025 (www.mahacet.org). Candidates should obtain a non-zero positive score in any of the above mentioned qualifying entrance exam.

Application for B.Sc. Information Technology, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. Data Science., BSc Biotechnology, Integrated BS-MS programmes are accepted through Somaiya Vidyavihar University Entrance Test (SVUET) 2025 OR std XII aggregate score OR CUET UG 2025. Candidates should obtain a non-zero positive score in SVUET 2025.

Somaiya Vidyavihar University Entrance Test 2025

The details of the SVUET is given below.

• The total duration of the test is 1 hour with total marks 60.
• The mode of instruction for SVUET will be English.
• This will be an Online-Internet Proctored Test.
• There will be no separate charges for SVUET.
• Candidates have the option to apply for any one of the sessions as mentioned below.
• Candidates should obtain a non-zero positive score in SVUET for above mentioned programmes.

For Academic Session 2025-26, SVUET will be conducted in three sessions i.e.  19/04/2025 , 17/05/2025 , 07/06/2025

Round 1 (SVUET First Session)

Application Dates : Till 30 April 2025
Result Declaration : May First Week
 

Round 2 (SVUET Second Session)

Application Dates : 1 May to 31 May 2025
Result Declaration : June First Week
 

Round 3 (SVUET Third Session)

Application Dates : 1 June to 15 July 2025
Result Declaration : July Third Week
 

Round 4 (Admissions against vacancy)

Application Dates : 16 July to 15 August 2025
Result Declaration : August Third Week

Schedule of Mock Test

Mock Test duration : 9  to 18 April 2025 
Duration: 30 minutes
You are advised to appear for the mock test on any of the above-mentioned dates. You can appear for the mock exam only once.

Schedule Of Entrance Exam on 19 April 2025

Start Time of Exam: 10:00 AM (Exam will start sharp at 10 am, kindly login 20-30 minutes prior of the exam start time)
Exam Duration: 60 Minutes

The applicant has to choose any one of these sessions of SVUET.

Steps to apply for the undergraduate programme

Step 2:

Select the Programme and read the instructions thoroughly.

Step 3:

Complete the application form payment, you will receive a notification email acknowledging your payment. No separate SVUET fees will be charged.

Step 4:

Complete the online form with Personal, Academic, and other required information as mentioned in the online form.

Step 5:

Select any one session of SVUET.

Step 6:

Upload the required document mentioned in the online form.
