The Placement Process at KJSCE acts as a link between the expectations of the Recruiters with the dreams of the students. The activities as part of the Placements are mentioned below. The following procedure is adopted for the Final Placement processes

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an availability of career guidance in college?

Career guidance responsibility is shared by all HoDs, placement committees and various professional bodies. Seminars/ workshops are arranged at departmental as well as at the institute level. The alumni also visits and interacts with the students to mentor them on an individual basis, and in an informal manner. The library is stocked with ample number of books on the subject.

Is there a career counselling facility for Higher Studies?

Higher education guidance responsibility is also shared by all HoDs, placement committees and various professional bodies. Guidance sessions are conducted at departmental level by departmental faculties under guidance of respective Head of Department. The proctors play a major role in individual counselling of students. At institute level, various professional bodies as well as the placements committee regularly organize seminars and workshops to spread awareness amongst the students about higher studies.

Will there be pre-placement training?

This year the institute has implemented the concept of finishing school. Under the finishing school training is carried out in two phases for around 100 hours and provided online practice tests for the students are conducted to get them better practice for Mock, aptitude, interview skills for placement purpose.

T & P sessions
T & P sessions are planned in the time table for SE, TE & BE students and grooming sessions are conducted every week to prepare the students for placements.

GATE practice software
GATE practice software is also installed in institutes ‘LAN to prepare students for GATE Examination. Students are also guided for studies in India/abroad through expert seminars and alumni based at foreign countries.

Is the language lab available on the campus?

Language lab with audio-visual software is available to boost language skills of students who need the same. Class-teachers, Mentors, HODs and all other faculty members counsel and guide students continuously about their career, placements, training, requirements if industries worldwide, latest evolutionary technologies, value addition knowledge etc
