Minor in Cyber Security

In today’s highly connected world everyone relies heavily on information and infrastructure. The sensitive data and systems are increasingly on peril, and there is a growing necessity for knowledgeable professionals who can develop, use, and manage best practices and tools to safeguard the critical infrastructure. Cybersecurity, a specialized field of Information Technology (IT) which deals with techniques and methods to protect data, system and services from unauthorized access, misuse, modification, and disruption.

Cyber Security minor of KJSCE aims in converting passionate students to next generation cybersecurity professional by not only imparting strong theoretical knowledge but also hands-on exposure to the key areas such as security fundamentals, cryptography, penetration testing, software security, digital forensics and reverse engineering.
