Team Silk Road from K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering secured a Top 5 Finalist spot at the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024, advancing through 395 competing teams to reach the grand finale.

Project: Addressing SIH1627 – Drug Inventory and Supply Chain Management, our Web3-powered platform tackled medicine shortages, expired drug wastage, and supply chain inefficiencies. Key features included:
        •        Role-Based Access Control for secure stakeholder interactions
        •        Real-Time Tracking for enhanced transparency
        •        Reverse Supply Chain Management for responsible drug disposal
        •        AI-Powered Predictions to optimize inventory levels

Grand Finale: The 36-hour hackathon at Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, tested our skills and perseverance. Though we didn’t win, reaching the final stage was a testament to our innovation and hard work.
