I am pleased to share that our team, “The Dangers of My Heart,” from K. J. Somaiya School of Engineering, secured All India Rank 4 in the NCIIPC–AICTE Pentathon 2025, a national-level cybersecurity competition organized by the National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre (NCIIPC) and AICTE.
The competition followed a Capture the Flag (CTF) format, covering a wide range of cybersecurity domains such as Web Exploitation, Forensics, Cryptography, Binary Exploitation (PWN), Reverse Engineering, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), and Operational Technology (OT) Security. Each challenge was designed to replicate real-world cyberattack and defense scenarios, testing our problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills under time constraints.
Competing among 2200 teams from top institutions across India in the first online round and later among 25 finalists in the grand finale, our team demonstrated exceptional teamwork, persistence, and innovation in tackling complex challenges.
