A Ph.D in Drug Design, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology or a closely related ffield is required.
Postdoctoral experience is highly desirable.
Required Experience:
Experience : A demonstrated track record of research excellence and the potential to secure funding. Teaching experaience at the university level (3-4 years) is preferred.
Publications: A solid publication record in high-impact journals within the field.
Research Grants: Individuals with record of funding received from govt agencies would be preferred.

Research
Develop and lead an independent, externally funded research projects/programs in drug design and discovery.
Publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at national and international conferences.
Collaborate with other faculty members, research institutions and industry partners on interdisciplinary projects.
Supervise and mentor postgraduate students, PhD fellows and research staff.
Teaching
Teach postgraduate courses in drug design, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology and related areas.
Develop new courses and curricula that reflect the latest advances in the field.
Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, including supervising student research projects and theses.
Collaboration, Outreach and Administration
Participate in departmental, institute, and university committees and activities.
Engage in outreach activities to promote the department's mission and enhance its visibility.
Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and strategies.
Key Skills
Strong background in computational drug design, structure-based drug design or cheminformatics.
Proficiency in modern laboratory techniques and tools used in drug discovery.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
