Ph.D. in Economics, Business Economics from reputed University/Institute.
Preferred Qualifications:
Postdoctoral experience or significant industry experience in economic analysis or consulting.
Familiarity with executive education and corporate training in economics or management.
Proven record of securing research funding and led developing partnerships with businesses or government entities.
Required Experience:
Proven experience in teaching economics at postgraduate levels, preferably within a business school or management institute.
Demonstrated ability to apply economic principles to solve real-world business problems.
A track record of published research in peer-reviewed journals, with a focus on economics and its intersection with high impact management.
Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds in a management education context.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching:
Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in Economics, focusing on topics such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, managerial economics, business economics etc.
Develop and update course content, case studies, and instructional materials that relate economic theory to current real-world business problems and management practices.
Facilitate interactive and case-based learning, encouraging students to think critically about economic challenges in the business environment.
Provide mentorship and academic advising to students, guiding them in their academic and professional development.
Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, projects, and presentations.
Research:
Conduct research in the field of economics with a focus on management, business strategy, and economic policy.
Publish research findings in high-impact academic journals, and present them at academic conferences, symposia, and workshops.
Develop applied research projects that offer practical insights for business leaders and policymakers.
Encourage students to engage in research and supervise postgraduate-level research projects and dissertations.
Secure Research Grant.
Professional Practice:
Develop and deliver MDPs consulting practice.
Develop consultancies to apply own research to real-world challenges.
Service to the Institute:
Monitor your faculty and provide leadership to critical institutional activities.
Contribute to accreditation and curriculum review processes.
Represent the institute at academic and industry events, building its reputation in the academic and business communities.
