Qualification: MSc./Ph.D. in any branch of Chemistry with minimum of  15 years of relevant experience

Required Experience:

• Experience in managing  an analytical laboratory in academia or industry  and providing analytical and testing services, training programmes  and fostering  industry collaborations; 

• Proven leadership abilities and interpersonal skills, with a strong track record in team development, business growth and cross functional project execution;

• Extensive experience in analytical laboratory operations with a strong understanding of quality standards, NABL and regulatory compliance.

• Expertise in modern analytical and measurement techniques, including gas and liquid chromatography, spectroscopy, thermal analysis, GC-MS-MS, AAS, ICP-MS etc.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while working independently

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and strengthen partnerships with industry and academic institutions by providing  testing and analytical  services, continuing education,  training programs and collaborative research projects.

• Promote the Centre's capabilities to external stakeholders in both academia and industry

• Lead and manage the operations of the Center, ensuring developing systems and processes for  maintenance of equipment, precision and accuracy in sample testing, data validation, and reporting.

• Identify and develop team competencies essential for delivering the objectives of the Centre.

• Lead and execute  consultancy projects in collaboration with industry partners and/or public research institutes.

• Stay current with emerging advances in analytical and measurement sciences, analytical instrumentation, to enhance laboratory capabilities of the Centre.

• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory guidelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
