Job Description
Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
Required Experience:
•Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle NetSuite, Advanced MS Excel) and MS Power Point
•Minimum 4–6 years in finance/accounts, preferably in NGO/CSR-funded entities or similar setups
•Strong understanding of fund accounting and CSR financial compliance, and handling full accounting cycle
•Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
Job Description:
Fund & Grant Accounting
• Manage CSIP’s accounts including CSR funds and sponsorships, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational guidelines.
•Track fund-wise receipts and expenditures with accurate cost center and budget allocations.
•Prepare and submit fund utilization statements as per project or management requirements.
Bookkeeping & Accounting
•Maintain daily accounts in Oracle NetSuite and Advanced Excel.
•Process payments, manage vouchers, ledgers, and reconcile bank statements on a daily basis.
•Handle petty cash, staff reimbursements, and vendor payments with complete documentation.
Compliance & Audit
•Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (TDS, GST, etc.) and support internal and statutory audits.
•Maintain records for CSR compliance and coordinate with auditors, banks, and statutory bodies.
Reporting & Documentation
•Prepare financial reports, budget-vs-actuals, forecasts, and maintain accurate records, in physical and soft copy.
•Support annual and monthly budgeting, donor reporting, and proposal development.
Coordination & Support
•Liaise with program and fundraising teams for budgeting, fund disbursement, and expense tracking. Address donor queries and manage vendor payments and documentation.
Key Skills
Experience working in a not-for-profit, CSR, Industry Partnerships
Familiarity with CSR Rules under Companies Act and NGO financial compliance frameworks.
