Dr. R. G. Karandikar,  is  working since May 1990. Presently he is faculty in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Dean (Academic Program) .  

At the start of his career he completed Diploma in Electrical Engineering from V. J. T. I, Mumbai -19. He is graduate and post graduate in Electrical Engineering from V. J. T. I, Mumbai -19 (University of Mumbai) and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IITB,Mumbai - 76.

He has two years industrial experience and more than two decades experience in teaching field.  He has authored books for under graduate engineering students and has published papers in international / national journals and conferences. He has passion about education field and hence selected it as a career. He has sound technical background and has developed professional expertise in his chosen field.

His research interest is information and communication systems. He has rich experience of administration of academic and co-curricular activities in the institute.
