Dr Nandana Prabhu, Associate Professor, Department of Information technology, in K J Somaiya School of Engineering, Somaiya Vidyavihar University has academic experience of 30+ years. Her areas of interest include image processing, Machine learning and GIS. She has publications in esteemed journals, conferences and reviewed papers in various conferences and journals. She has mentored many students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. |
She has held various responsibilities, such as Head of department, IQAC Coordinator, Academic board member of college. Her dedication to excellence has earned her accolades. Educational Achievement Awards , Somaiya Trust, 2014, Longest Student Branch Counsellor, CSI, India 2015, Distinguished Associate Professor, Technext India, CSI chapter, Region VI, Jan2017. She has also demonstrated leadership in organizing seminars, workshops, and STTPs, served as the Secretary for a National Conference organised by college in 2009 and Jt. Coordinator for International Conference on technologies in Energy, Agriculture and Healthcare 2025. She is currently working as IQAC coordinator of KJSSE, member IQAC_SVU and Secretary , WDC_SVU Distinguished Associate Professor, Technext India, CSI chapter, Region VI, jan2017 . She is a Life Member of ISTE and IETE.
