The B. Tech + MBA Dual Degree Programme combines the strengths of engineering education and management learning to prepare students for leadership in technology-driven industries. Students pursue their B.Tech degree while progressively building business and managerial capabilities through specially designed management coursework delivered alongside their engineering education. In the fifth year, students transition into advanced MBA specialization pathways. The programme develops professionals who can combine technical expertise with strategic thinking, leadership, innovation, and business decision-making.

Students have the flexibility to exit the dual degree pathway after completing the B.Tech programme and earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).
Students who successfully complete the first four years of the programme will graduate with a B.Tech degree. If a student chooses to exit the dual degree pathway after the fourth year, they will also receive a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).

Admissions to the B.Tech + MBA Dual Degree Programme are offered to eligible students enrolled in K J Somaiya School of Engineering. Students are selected based on their interest, commitment, and suitability for the dual degree pathway.
Management coursework is delivered progressively during the first four years, followed by advanced MBA specialization in the fifth year.
