We are delighted to announce that our team from K J Somaiya School of Engineering has emerged victorious at Climate Hackathon 2024, organized by Ekonnect and the US Consulate General, Mumbai, on December 19–20, 2024. The team was awarded a cash prize of ₹1.5 lakhs for their outstanding project that showcased innovation and environmental sustainability, addressing key challenges to promote a sustainable and greener future.
The team, comprising Ronak Shah, Mahima Singh, Ashmit Singh, and Kanishka Sahil (FY Computer Engineering) presented the ‘Smart Trash Bin’ project mentored by                             Dr. Payal Varangaonkar, Department of Electronics Engineering and Prof. Swati Mali, Department of Computer Engineering.
