Introduction

Dr. Vaibhav S. Narwane is working as an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai. He received his Ph.D. in the Production Engineering Department, from University Mumbai. He has 21 years of teaching and 1 year of industrial experience. He has more than fifty peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals. His research has over 2000 Google Scholar citations with high h-index and i10-index. He is a fellow member and active member of the IIIE. His current area of research includes AI/ML for Manufacturing, Big data analytics, Smart Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Analytics.
