For Academic Year 2024-25

Application for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), are accepted through State Common Entrance Test MAH-B.BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM CET 2024 (www.mahacet.org) or Somaiya Vidyavihar University Entrance Test (SVUET). Candidates should obtain a non-zero positive score in any of the above mentioned qualifying entrance exam.

Application for Bachelor of Arts Mass Communication & Journalism (BAMCJ), B.Sc. Information Technology, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. Data Science., B.Sc. Economics, B.Sc. Psychology Programme through Somaiya Vidyavihar University Entrance Test (SVUET) only. Candidates should obtain a non-zero positive score in SVUET.

Somaiya Vidyavihar University Entrance Test Structure

The structure of the SVUET is given below.

• The total duration of the test is 1 hour with total marks 60.
• The mode of instruction for SVUET will be English.
• This will be an Online-Internet Proctored Test.
• There will be no separate charges for SVUET.
• Candidates have the option to apply for any one of the sessions as mentioned below.
• Candidates should obtain a non-zero positive score in SVUET for above mentioned programmes only.

Mock test link will be uploaded by 10^th April 2024 on https://admissions.somaiya.edu/. The applicant will have to appear for the mock test through their own login created during the registration process.

Schedule of SVUET 2024-25

For Academic Session 2024-25, SVUET will be conducted in three sessions i.e. 

• Session 1 - 20th April 2024 - Timing 10am to 11am
• Session 2 - 19th May 2024 - Timing 10am to 11am
• Session 3 - 9th June 2024 - Timing 10am to 11am

The applicant has to choose any one of these sessions of SVUET.

Step 1:

Start your application process by registering on https://admissions.somaiya.edu/

Step 2:

Select the Programme and read the instructions thoroughly.

Step 3:

Complete the application form payment, you will receive a notification email acknowledging your payment. No separate SVUET fees will be charged.

Step 4:

Complete the online form with Personal, Academic, and other required information as mentioned in the online form.

Step 5:

Select any one session of SVUET.

Step 6:

Upload the required document mentioned in the online form.

Step 7:

Mock test link will be uploaded by 10^th April 2024 on https://admissions.somaiya.edu/ for the applicable programmes only.
